Named in homage to the publisher’s grandfather, who raced his Two+Plus car across the American Midwest during the 1940s and 1950s. Those tracks were loud, fast, and kicked up a heavy grit onto everyone present.
In that same spirit, Clay Track Press publishes literature that lingers in the air. Learning from my grandfather, if there’s
not dirt in your hair and eyes, you’re not trying hard enough.
The stories we publish are shaped in the communities of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, but echo easily in the rhythms of small towns everywhere.
They are neither grandly epic nor algorithmically efficient; rather, they are handcrafted, human, and messy. A break from the everyday drone and hum. With a dash of humor.
If an antidote to noise or updates on future activities of Clay Track Press sound interesting, please consider leaving your details below.
Until then, keep the dirt flying.
